Tayler Bergen - Head Coach

Coaching Profile

I began coaching in 2020 and have worked at both the junior varsity and varsity levels across school and club programs. Most recently, I coached with Team Manitoba and have continued to support athletes through strength and conditioning development.

My coaching philosophy is rooted in hard work, accountability, and strong fundamentals, anchored by a commitment to excellence. I believe success is built through consistent effort—showing up every day ready to improve, embrace challenges, and push personal limits. I hold athletes accountable not only for their performance, but for their attitude, discipline, and commitment to the team.

While competitiveness drives our standard, enjoyment is what fuels long-term passion for the sport. I strive to create an environment where athletes pursue results with urgency and pride, but also build lasting memories and a genuine love for the game.

Winning matters, and we pursue it together—but the real goal is to develop habits and mindsets that translate to success on and off the court. My aim is to help athletes grow as competitors and as people, leaving the program better, stronger, and more confident than they arrived.
