2026 17U/18U Open Gym Registration
Registration is open for Dynamo Volleyball Club's 2026 17U/18U Open Gyms at Balmoral Hall. These sessions are designed for athletes interested in Dynamo's varsity-aged programming for the 2026/2027 club season.
Who should register?
Athletes eligible for the 17U or 18U age categories for the 2026/2027 club season.
Athletes interested in Dynamo's high-performance varsity programming.
Families who want to learn more about Dynamo before the Early Signing Period or December tryouts.
Open Gym Schedule
17U sessions: August 24, 6:00–8:00 pm; August 25, 6:00–8:00 pm; August 26, 8:00–10:00 pm; August 27, 8:00–10:00 pm; August 29, TBD; August 30, TBD.
18U sessions: August 24, 8:00–10:00 pm; August 25, 8:00–10:00 pm; August 26, 6:00–8:00 pm; August 27, 6:00–8:00 pm; August 29, TBD; August 30, TBD.
Location: Balmoral Hall, 630 Westminster Avenue, Winnipeg, Manitoba.
Cost
Single session: $35 including GST. Six-session bundle: $200 including GST. Athletes may attend one session, multiple sessions, or the full bundle.
What athletes can expect
High-tempo skill work and competitive game-play situations.
A chance for coaches to evaluate athletes in a more complete training environment than a single tryout allows.
Clear expectations around work ethic, coachability, communication, competitiveness, and team fit.
Important note
Open Gyms are not formal tryouts and they are not a guarantee of team selection. They are identification opportunities that help athletes and coaches make more informed decisions before the 2026/2027 season. Dynamo will continue to follow Volleyball Manitoba's recruiting, blackout, open gym, early signing, and tryout guidelines.
